Aaron Longshore

He was also nanny for the boys when Vicki attended the Waldorf Remedial training. He was very actively engaged in sports, skateboarding and snowboarding. He was also very handy on the farm. He built shelves and gnome chairs for Stargarden which continue to be used. He also showed an early talent for clothes design when he crocheted snowboard pants while hanging out on Pearl Street Mall in Boulder, truly a multi-talented individual.
Aaron is also multilingual, learning German as an exchange student in Stuttgart, Germany. He also speaks Indonesian from his years living in Bali. Upon graduation from high school with a full scholarship to Oberlin College and an offer for a ticket around the world, he opted for the latter. Thailand, Cambodia, Nepal, France, Italy, Spain, Czech Republic, and Brazil are among the countries that he visited. After a semester at Oberlin he pursued his love of Bali and clothes design to create a batik import business.
For the past nine years Aaron has lived on the island of Maui where he has a wife, Angeline and two boys, Cam and Wyatt, who attend the Haleakala Waldorf School. He has spent nearly a decade enjoying the ocean as an ocean kayak tour guide, underwater ocean photographer, avid surfer and kite boarder. More recently, Aaron has put his entrepreneurial skills to use creating a window washing business, Aaron's Window Cleaning and an ocean adventure tour business, Maui Marine Photo Tours. These ocean adventures offer private, custom tours by kayak and snorkel to swim with dolphins, whales, sharks and other marine life, as well as underwater photography lessons. He designed the Stargarden Parenting logo, created the original website with the watercolor background and took photos for the website. He continues to provide web support as we move towards making the audio recordings available to a wider audience.
