Ms. Vicki,

I was moved to tears last week as I watched you dance little Jackie Frost about. And I must confess it isn't the first time. Tears of joy and wonder at all you do and all you offer week after week, year after year to such a fortunate group of souls of which Norah, Clare, Brian & I are honoured to be part of.

Every Tuesday we look forward to spending time with you and those you have brought together at Stargarden. It feels like we take a ride down a gently floating river - the same section each week - and each week the journey gets richer and richer. As a Mother, I feel lifted and carried for the brief sun-drenched time together. We all feel joyous and nourished with stories to tell and songs to sing. And so we do. . .until we meet again. Vicki, thank you for your love, your gifts, your stamina.

Thank you, thank you for another wonderful year! We're so grateful for you and Stargarden. Dario just loves and adores you. I feel like Dario is really thriving,growing & learning in your spiritual/religion class. You "get him" and have such a wonderful way and style. It's so great to see how well Dario responds to you. And I continue to grow and learn from you in how to be a better parent. I really appreciate you sharing all your experience and insights.

We're already looking forward to next year, but until then enjoy a relaxing and rejuvenating summer!

Dear Vicki and Jeff,

Jon and I are so pleased that Juliana is thriving at the Children's religion class. We feel so blessed to have found such a unique learning environment for Juliana. You provided just the right combination of gentle, loving, "firm with boundaries" space for the children to grow and thrive. We are so happy that the children are allowed to learn through play, guidance and structure all of which you provide with ease and grace. I feel that Tuesday's are as important to Juliana from the point of view of being with other children and learning a structure as they are to me, to learn about parenting from you, Vicki. I thank you, Jeff, for the most delicious Tuesday meals, I feel truly spoiled.

And then there is more! It is such a gift to us that you understand the spiritual nature of a child and that you care so deeply for each child and that you take them into your hearts and meditate on them. I thought it was only the mothers and granny's (in our case, my mother) who did the meditation part!

Thank you for all the thoughtfulness and dedication that goes into making Stargarden such a beautiful place for our children's beauty to unfold. We wish you and your family a very peaceful, easeful and restful Christmas break. We look forward to seeing you in January 2010! Om Shanti.
