Our Location
Stargarden is located three miles north of Boulder near the foothills in the agricultural area of Boulder County. The land has been organically/biodynamically
cared for since 1993. Our inspiration has been to create a sanctuary for people, animals, plants and elementals. There is great diversity in the landscape,
flower gardens, fruit trees, grape arbor and vegetable and berry gardens. The children help in the seasonal activities of gardening, as they learn to honor the God being
I AM Presence in self, in the other and in creation. They participate and become skilled in the daily care of chickens, angora goats and horses. There is plenty of room for walks and projects in nature. We daily make a
deep connection to Mother Earth and Father Sun and show our gratitude for all we have been given.
Inside, the kitchen and playroom walls have been lazured in beautifully layered water colors which set the stage for a magically spiritual and heartwarming experience. The life of the farm and garden continues with seasonal arts and crafts in honor of the festivals, in our nutritions snacks and meals and in the puppet shows and play.
Since families and children feel so nurtured heart and soul by the experience in our sanctuary and wish to linger after class, we have created the gazebo garden. Here children play in Junipero's tree and sandbox while parents supervise and visit. The gnome, Junipero, who the children have learned to love through stories, is happy to allow the children to play and take good care of his family's home. A comforting ending to many wonder-filled days.
Please feel free to call us at (303)775-6964 for more information regarding our programs, admissions process, or consulting. We'd love to hear from you so don't be shy...
